REALTOR® associations at every level are focused on messaging to consumers to help them understand both the impact of the NAR Settlement, debunk many of the myths that are prevalent as a result, and continue to emphasize the value and service that REALTORS® offer to consumers.
For example, as part of a multi-million dollar advocacy campaign, Texas REALTORS® has developed the Value Toolkit for member use to help clear up myths and misinformation about the NAR settlement and to emphasize the essential role REALTORS® play in real estate transactions. Included in the toolkit are:
Social Media and Marketing Resources: Ready-to-use graphics, sample posts, and talking points that address key issues like the NAR settlement’s impact on clients, the benefits of working with a REALTOR®, and debunking false information.
Educational Content: PDFs, email templates, and other digital resources explain how REALTORS® make buying and selling homes easier. Topics include "REALTORS® Do All That?!?" and "Team Up With a REALTOR® to Find Your Dream Home."
Spokesperson Toolkit: This toolkit includes an on-demand video course on media training and interview best practices to provide REALTORS® with tools to confidently navigate client conversations and public speaking opportunities.By leveraging these tools, REALTORS® can communicate their value, enhance client trust, and reinforce their position as leaders in the industry.
