The National Flood Insurance Program is once again set to expire today, September 30. NAR has issued an all-member Call for Action to urge Congress to take immediate action to extend the program. NAR estimates an extended lapse could threaten 1,300 property sales each day, as existing policies begin to expire and buyers lose financing or are forced to pay fees to hold interest rates.
All members should have receive the Call for Action via email.
